Tomorrow, Persib Jamu Bali United In Si Jalak Harupat, 1,500 Security Personnel Will Be Deployed

The Bandung City Police (Polresta) deployed 1,500 joint personnel to secure the Persib Bandung match to host Bali United at Si Jalak Harupat (SJH), Bandung Regency, West Java, tomorrow Saturday, May 18 at 19.00 WIB.

"So the security personnel we hold are 1,500 personnel who are divided into two security zones, namely in ring two and three," said Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Kusworo Wibowo in Bandung Regency, Friday, May 17, as reported by Antara.

Kusworo said that the ring one zone would be deployed by service officers or stewards as many as 400 personnel to provide security inside the stadium.

"No police officers are inside the stadium, only on the edges, if they are asked for a steward to enter, they will only enter if an important event occurs," he said.

Furthermore, Kusworo appealed to Bali United supporters not to attend the match. According to him, this was based on PSSI's decision that the Persib Bandung vs Bali United match could not be attended by the visitors.

"We have warned that the visitors' supporters are not allowed to come, if they come they are still not allowed to enter the stadium even though they have bought tickets," he said.

He ensured that spectators who did not have bracelet tickets were certainly not allowed to enter and would be prevented by the police, because inspection of tickets would be carried out outside the area of Si Jalak Harupat Stadium.

"So for Bobotoh who doesn't have a ticket, of course they won't be allowed to enter the stadium, if you just watch it at the event, while those who have tickets don't bring prohibited items, such as matches, laser points, flares, drugs, alcohol, and others," said Kusworo.

Meanwhile, Vice President of Operations of PT Persib Bandung with dignity, Andang Ruhiat again reminded the visitors' supporters about the ban on coming to the 2023/2024 Liga 1 championshipships series matches.

"We don't get tired of reminding the visitors not to attend the semifinal second leg match between Persib and Bali United at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium. This is an important match for both teams. So, let's make it a success together," said Andang.

He said Persib would not be responsible for any losses suffered by the visiting team supporters. Therefore, he hopes to all parties to respect and enforce the regulations that have been agreed upon.

"There is a threat of sanctions against clubs, including the visitors and their supporters who force themselves. They can also deal with the police who also have the authority to prevent this from happening," he said.
