KPK Reveals Nayunda Nabila's Shooting Received Goods From SYL

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the singer or singer, Nayunda Nabila, received goods from former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

This was conveyed by the Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri when revealing the results of Nayunda's examination as a witness to the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU) that ensnared Syahrul on Monday, May 13.

"It was also confirmed that there was a gift from the suspect," Ali said without giving details to reporters in a written statement, Tuesday, May 14.

In addition, investigators also questioned him about receiving money from Syahrul. This step was taken after the statement of the former Coordinator of Household Substances of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) Arief Sopian at the trial of alleged extortion and acceptance of gratuities at the Ministry of Agriculture on Monday, April 29.

At that time, Arief said that there was money from the ministry to pay the invited singer at an event held by Syahrul Yasin Limpo while serving as Minister of Agriculture.

"Witnesses were present and confirmed, among others, the alleged flow of money from the suspect SYL as Minister of Agriculture," said Ali.

Previously reported, the KPK named Syahrul Yasin Limpo, who is a former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) as a suspect in the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU). This step was taken after he was caught in an alleged extortion and acceptance of gratuities.

The case of extortion and acceptance of gratuities that ensnared Syahrul is currently being tried at the Jakarta Corruption Court. He was charged with extortion of up to Rp44.5 billion during the 2020-2023 period.

This action was carried out together with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi Subagyono and the Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery of the Directorate General of Infrastructure and Facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhammad Hatta.

This money was used for the benefit of Syahrul's wife and family, invited gifts, the NasDem Party, religious events, aircraft charters to Umrah and sacrifices. In addition, he was also charged with receiving gratuities of Rp40.6 billion from January 2020 to October 2023.
