Ahok: Whoever The Governor Of DKI Later, The Number Of Cellphones Must Be Known By Jakarta Residents

PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said his party was still observing the names of figures proposed to be promoted as candidates for governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.

"The names will be filtered according to proposals from the regions. We apologize, we cannot mention it because it is still carrying out the funeral process," said Hasto at the Pemenangan Command Post, Jakarta, Monday, May 6 evening.

Ahok, through his personal YouTube account "Call Me BTP" on Thursday (9/5), suggested that the candidates for governor of DKI Jakarta must be willing to submit their personal cell phone numbers to serve the community.

"I encourage anyone to become governor of DKI Jakarta to submit their official cellphone number personally," he said. Ahok also said that the candidate for governor of DKI must be willing to accept complaints because it is trusted as a leader who is tasked with helping the poor and needs help. He hopes that the next governor of DKI will be able to have transparent properties, including open budget-related.
