Parts Of Jakarta Will Be Rained Thursday Afternoon To Night

JAKARTA - Some areas of DKI Jakarta today, Thursday, May 9, are forecasted to rain with light intensity and provide early warning of the potential for lightning and strong winds, according to data from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

Data from the BMKG official website states that the areas in DKI Jakarta consisting of Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands on Thursday morning are cloudy.

Moving on in the afternoon, quoted from ANTARA, BMKG predicts that East Jakarta, West Jakarta, and South Jakarta will rain with light intensity, while other areas will be cloudy.

Shifting in the evening, South Jakarta and West Jakarta are forecasted to rain light intensity while other areas are cloudy.

Meanwhile, on Friday (10/5) early morning, the Thousand Islands Regency will rain with moderate intensity, and areas such as South Jakarta, North Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Central Jakarta are only cloudy.

In addition, BMKG also provides early warnings to be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds that can occur in East and South Jakarta in the afternoon.

For wind speed, all areas of DKI Jakarta, are around 10 kilometers per hour except for the Thousand Islands Regency, which reaches 20 kilometers per hour.

On the same day, the air temperature in Jakarta is predicted to be in the lowest range of 25 degrees Celsius, and a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius.

For the humidity level on the same day, the DKI Jakarta area is estimated to be in the range of 60 to 90 percent.
