The Issue Of Being Minister Of Finance In The Prabowo-Gibran Government, Minister Of Health Budi Berkeluran: Wants To Be Minister Of Information

JAKARTA - Indonesian Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin opened his voice regarding himself which was rumored to be Minister of Finance (Menkeu) in the new government cabinet in the coming period. "If there is a position like Pak Harto's era as the Minister of Information who takes care of journalists, I want to become the Minister of Information," said Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin when met in Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, May 8. When asked further, Minister of Health Budi did not agree or dismissed the issue. "It was the talk of fellow journalists who decided that the president would vote," he said. Ahead of his 60th age, Minister of Health Budi revealed that he wanted to do other things, such as wanting to participate in a marathon race in Berlin, Germany. "Why? As Minister of Health, you have to give an example, right? Live a healthy life," he said. Apart from that, Minister of Health Budi gave advice to the elected government not to choose the Minister of Health and the Minister of Education. He assessed that education and health are the main capital in dealing with Indonesia Gold 2045, where Indonesia must increase its income by maximizing existing demographic bonuses, so as not to become a middle-income trap. Education and health, he said, are two important factors in realizing this.

"So, Pak Prabowo, Pak Jokowi, choose any minister, it's up to you, but the Minister of Education and Health should not make the wrong choice," said Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
