The following is a synopsis of the drama Undercover High School below:

Undercover High School tells the story of Jung Hae Seong (Seo Kang Joon) an agent at the National Intelligence Service (NIS) who is reliable in his work. After an incident in the middle of surgery, Hae Seong received a demotion.

In addition to the demotion, Jung Hae Seong is placed in a location where King Gojong's gold stems disappear. Jung Hae Seong was assigned to find the location of the gold bar at the Byeongmoon High School school.

He hid his identity and disguised himself as a high school student. There, he met O Su A (Jin Ki Joo) as his homeroom teacher.

O Su A is a history teacher at Byeongmoon High School with contract status. He was very close to his students when he was their homeroom teacher.

When meeting Jung Hae Seong, O Su A was surprised to see her first love from childhood who suddenly appeared in front of her. Her first love was also the beginning of the hurt she experienced.

Over time, O Su A and Jung Hae Seong began to get close but Hae Seong was also fixated on the mission assigned to him.
