JAKARTA - Suspect Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh stole the company's money brought by Rini Mariany worth Rp43 million. The money is said to have been used to buy a suitcase until it was given to his mother.

"Because the suspect has used it, namely renting Grab, paying for hotels, buying suitcases twice because the first suitcase did not fit, the second suitcase that just fit in was such a large one," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Gogo Galesung to reporters, Friday, May 3.

Not only that, the suspect bought a plane ticket using the stolen money. He fled after killing Rini to Palembang.

In fact, some of the money the suspect sent to his parents. The remaining money confiscated was Rp36 million.

"The evidence we confiscated amounted to Rp36 million from Rp43 million which was taken by the suspect to the victim," said Gogo.

Regarding the nominal amount of money transferred by the suspect to his parents, the Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra, said the value was around Rp. 7 million.

However, shortly after being sent, the suspect asked his mother to transfer some of the money back.

"Initially, Rp. 7 million, then the suspect was asked to transfer the money back to the suspect in the amount of Rp. 2 million. This means that there is still Rp. 5 million in the mother, the money is stored in the account and we have confiscated the account book rather than the suspect's parents," said Wira.

Rini Mariany's body was found in a suitcase in West Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, Thursday, April 25. Thus, the police conducted an investigation into the alleged murder case.

From the results of the investigation, the police finally arrested Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh, who is the main suspect in the Palembang area, on May 1.

The series of examination processes were carried out, as a result, it was found that the suspect killed the victim by banging his head and strangling the victim to death.

From the results of the investigation, it turned out that Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh was assisted by his younger brother with the initials AT. He was said to have been involved when he dumped Rini Mariany's body.

In this case, Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh and AT were charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 339 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 365 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
