Gibran 'Jokowi' Rakabuming's Fluent Speech In Front Of The UAE Minister, Netizens Compare With Jokowi And Pope Francis

JAKARTA - Netizens have again highlighted the English speech delivered by the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, in front of a number of Ministers from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saturday, March 6.

The eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) made a speech in the context of groundbreaking the Sheikh Zayed Solo Mosque. As monitored by VOI on the Surakarta news Youtube channel, Monday, March 8.

The mosque was built on an area of 2.9 hectares on the land of the former Pertamina depot, Ahmad Yani Street No. 191, Gilingan, Banjarsari, Surakarta City is a replica of the Syeikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. The mosque was a gift from the Prince of the United Arab Emirates to President Jokowi.

Netizens compare Gibran with his father in making speeches and wish him success in carrying out the mandate as Mayor of Solo.

An interesting comment came from @Sugeng**** who said that the construction of a mosque in Solo was an acknowledgment from a Muslim country of Jokowi's leadership role in Indonesia.

For information, Sheikh Zayed Mosque can accommodate up to 10 thousand worshipers, different from the mosque in Abu Dhabi which can accommodate 40 thousand worshipers. However, there are still 3 main domes like the original mosque.
