Cak Imin Prays For PPP To Win The 2024 Legislative Election Dispute To Qualify For Senayan

Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar prays that PPP will win the 2024 Legislative Election (Pileg) of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the Constitutional Court (MK).

Thus, PPP can qualify and still exist in the Senayan parliament for the period 2024-2029. Given, in the vote count results, PPP did not pass the parliamentary threshold with 3.87 percent of the vote.

This was revealed after his meeting with PPP Chairman Muhamad Mardiono and PPP management at the PKB DPP office, Central Jakarta.

"PKB hopes that PPP will qualify in its struggle at the Constitutional Court. So, PPP's right to sit down with its hard work can be saved," said Cak Imin, Monday, April 29.

If PPP passes to Senayan, Cak Imin said his party with PPP could cooperate in overseeing the running of the government in the legislature.

Continuing, PPP Chairman Muhamad Mardiono admitted that he asked PKB for support so that the party bearing the symbol of this Kaaba could win the 2024 Pilleg dispute process. For Mardiono, PKB and PPP are like brothers and sisters in carrying out their political role as Islamic parties.

"We PPP ask for support and prayers of course from PKB figures, especially the chairman and all his staff to be able to support praying for PPP to pass the parliamentary threshold. What we have fought for in the Constitutional Court where today the inaugural session has started," explained Mardiono.

The Constitutional Court has begun hearing 297 cases of dispute over the results of the general election (PHPU) or dispute over the 2024 Legislative Election, Monday, April 29, 2024.

The trial was held in three panels, each led by judges MK Suhartoyo, Saldi Isra, and Arief Hidayat. Of these, PPP is the party with the most submissions, namely 24 cases.

One of the applications submitted by PPP was the alleged transfer of votes from his party to the Garuda Party's vote acquisition in the East Java electoral districts 1, 4, 6, and 8.
