Riau Islands KPU: Honor Of PPK Chair In 2024 Pilkada IDR 2.5 Million, Member Of IDR 2.2 Million

TANJUNGPINANG - Member of the Riau Islands KPU (Kepri) Ferry Muliadi Manalu said the honorarium for the head of the sub-district election committee (PPK) for the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections was IDR 2.5 million while members were IDR 2.2 million. "The amount of honorarium is the same as for PPK friends during the 2024 presidential and legislative elections," said Ferry in Tanjungpinang, as reported by Antara, Sunday, April 28. Ferry said that the total number of PPK personnel needed for the 2024 Riau Islands Pilkada was 400 people who were placed in 80 sub-districts in seven districts/cities throughout the Riau Islands. Each sub-district has five PPKs. PPK recruitment has started from April 23 to 29, 2024. The public can still register through an online system based on the page application, namely the KPU Member Information System and the Adhoc Agency (SIAKBA). Meanwhile, physical documents were submitted to the Riau Islands KPU office, no later than the written test was carried out from May 6 to May 8, 2024. The PPK, which is being recruited and will be sworn in on May 16, 2024, will have a working period of eight months. "The working period starts from May 16, 2024 to January 27, 2025," said Ferry. Ferry continued that the selection for the 2024 Riau Islands Regional Election PPK acceptance still uses a computer assisted test (CAT) system. This test was carried out with the aim of obtaining the implementation of Pilkada which has the ability, integrity and openness. "The PPK selection will be held openly for all Riau Islands people," said Ferry.

The registration requirements documents for the 2024 Pilkada PPK candidates are: a. Indonesian citizens b. At least 17 years old c. Setia kepada Pancasila sebagai dasar negara, Undang-Undang Basar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945, Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika dan aspirasi Proklamasi 17 Agustus 1945 d. Have integrity, a strong, honest and fair person e. Not being a member of a political party declared with a valid statement letter, or at least five years no longer a member of a political party as evidenced by a certificate from the management of the political party concerned. f. Domiciled in the PPK working area; g. Able to be physically, mentally and free from narcotics abuse h. Educational at the lowest high school or equivalent i. has never been sentenced to prison based on a court decision that has obtained permanent legal force for committing a crime that is threatened with imprisonment of five years or more. Participants are required to complete the required documents such as: a. Registration letter as a candidate for PPK member b. Photocopy of one Electronic Identity Card c. One sheet of photocopy of high school diplomas / equivalent or the last diploma d. A statement letter in one document stating: 1. Loyalty to Pancasila as the basis of the State, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and the ideals of the Proclamation 17 August 1945 2. Not being a member of a political party 3. Free from narcotics abuse 4. Never been sentenced to prison based on a court decision that has obtained permanent legal force for committing a crime that is threatened with imprisonment of five years or more 5. Never subject to permanent dismissal by the Regency/City KPU or the Honorary Council of Election Organizers 6. Not being a campaign team or winning team or witnesses participating in the elections or elections in the holding of elections and the shortest elections in the last 5 (five) years 7. Not in the marriage bond with fellow election organizers 8. Do not have comorbidities (comorbidities) 9. Have the ability and ability to read, write and count 10.
