The Family Rejects The Autopsy Of The Body Of The Manado Police Traffic Unit Who Died In A Car In Mampang

Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Hendrikus Yossi, said the family refused an autopsy on the body of a member of the Manado Police Traffic Unit, Brigadier Ridhal Ali Tomi who was found dead in a car in the Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta (Jaksel).

"Families have confirmed that they have given a statement that they are not willing to do an autopsy on the bodies," he told reporters Saturday, April 27.

Yossi said the victim was only subjected to a visum et repertum examination or an external examination of the body. This is based on the request of the family who refused to be autopsied.

The results of the external post-mortem are in accordance with the facts on the ground. It has been submitted to the family and has received an explanation from a forensic doctor that there are indeed injuries to the head, right temple to left temple," said Yossi.

Yossi continued, explanations regarding the results of the post-mortem have also been traced to the victim's family. Currently, the victim is planned to be brought to North Sulawesi, in order to be buried.

"So the one who explained it was not the investigative team, it was based on expertise, the field of function and science was a team of forensic doctors at the Kramata Jati Police Hospital," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the body of a member of the Manado Police Satlantas, Brigadier Ridhal Ali Tomi, was found dead in a car in the South Jakarta area on Thursday, April 25.

Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Henrikus Yossi, said that his body had been returned by the family represented by relatives to the deceased's cousin.

"The family has received the body and will then be taken to Soekarno-Hatta Airport to be flown to North Sulawesi," said Yossi to reporters, Saturday, April 27, evening.
