PKS Godok Strong Candidate For Governor Of DKI From Ahmad Syaikhu To Mardani Ali Sera

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Aboe Bakar Al Habsyi said that his party opened the opportunity to carry PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu to become a candidate for governor of DKI in the 2024 regional head election (pilkada).

"There can be several names, there is Sohibul Iman, there is Pak Syaikhu, there is Mr. Mardani," said Aboe Bakar when met at the PKS DPP office, South Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, April 27.

These names are considered to meet the criteria set by PKS to bring the party to win the DKI regional elections.

When asked about the possibility of carrying Anies Baswedan to become governor of DKI Jakarta again, Aboe Bakar admitted that his party was still considering this matter.

According to him, Anies Baswedan's participation in the presidential election has made him a national figure. So Aboe Bakar assessed that governorship is no longer a commensurate thing for Anies.

"Pak Anies has 25 percent as a national figure. Give Anies now the opportunity to take PKS people to become (the governor of DKI)," he said.

Previously, several big names had been included in the DKI regional head election market, one of which was Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini.

Risma emphasized that the people's voice is God's voice when responding to issues related to his name that are included in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Governor candidate market.

"I am frankly afraid, it's not what if the one who can speak I can afford it or not, that's the first God, the second people, the voice of the people is God's voice," said Risma.
