Heavy Rain In Jakarta This Afternoon, The Sound Of Lightning Is Occasionally Heard

JAKARTA - Heavy rain flushed the capital city of Jakarta, Sunday, March 7. The sound of lighting is occasionally heard. One of the areas hit by rain is in Kalibata, South Jakarta.

It rained quite heavily since 15:10 p.m. local time. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that the weather prediction for Jakarta is indeed raining with lightning.

This weather condition lasts from afternoon until evening. "Be aware of the potential for rain with lightning in the South and East Jakarta regions in the afternoon until the evening", reads an early warning released by BMKG on its official website, Sunday, March 7.

Based on the weather forecast data released by BMKG, almost all areas in Jakarta will experience rain today. Rain with light intensity is predicted to flush a number of areas in Jakarta in the afternoon.

For the entire Jakarta area temperature is in the normal range, namely 23 to 31 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, humidity is at 65 to 100%.
