Chairman Of The DPRD, Criticism Of Performance For 1 And A Half Years, Heru Budi, Has Not Resolved The Flood-Macet Problem

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, criticized the performance of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, who has not been able to overcome the problem of flooding and traffic jams in Jakarta.

What Prasetyo hopes is that at least the impact of flooding and congestion can be minimized during the Heru leadership period.

"If it's not firm, then the traffic jams will not be lost. Floods, all plasters first. I'm sorry, if in Jakarta it's not said to be a flood, it's a lie. It must be a flood," Prasetyo told reporters, Thursday, April 25.

According to the chairman of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Heru needs to handle it more extremely than usual. For example, accelerating the construction of permanent embankments along the river flow.

"Not during the flood, we are in a hurry. Whoever the governor is, if he is not a bit radical about the flood problem, it will still be flooded in Jakarta," said Prasetyo.

"We are perfect (solving the problem of flooding and traffic jams) we can't, either. But, if we focus, it will eventually be resolved," he continued.

On the one hand, Prasetyo also highlighted the problem of spatial planning in Jakarta. He sees that currently many developments are not in line with the detailed planning of the Jakarta spatial planning (RDTR).

"In this spatial planning, there are RDTR and RTRW regulations that have been ratified. For example, there is one area of Kebon Jeruk. It's a residence, not for commercial purposes, for example hotels. So, now it's hit in the rules," he said.
