JAKARTA - Secretary of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Nusron Wahid answered about the plan to form a new coalition after the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) which strengthened the determination of Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as president and vice president elected for the period 2024-2029.

Nusron said that his party was still waiting for the decision letter (SK) for Prabowo-Gibran's victory from the General Elections Commission (KPU) which was scheduled to be submitted on Wednesday, April 24 the day after tomorrow.

"We still have one more agenda, namely on Wednesday 24, after the results of the Constitutional Court, the KPU must follow up, namely the stipulation and ratification of the election winner as well as the submission of a decree that allows it to be scheduled for Wednesday, 10 am hours," said Nusron at the TKN Media Center, South Jakarta, Monday, April 22.

"Well, maybe after the determination of the KPU, there will definitely be many incidents of political events," he continued.

Nusron believes that several political parties (political parties) supporting Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD will strengthen and join the Prabowo-Gibran government. However, said Nusron, the political parties also did not want to precede the KPU.

"I am sure that several supporting party parties, both supporters of 01 or 03, will declare reconciliation to build a new coalition in the government of Pak Prabowo-Gibran, and they will not want togege mongso, ahead of time," said the Golkar politician.

"Because this has been decided by the Constitutional Court, one more step is the KPU's decision. That is when the moment is to communicate and reconcile or reconcile the formation of a new coalition," added Nusron.

Nusron assessed that the reconciliation effort would be while running until the time of Prabowo-Gibran's inauguration arrived, which took approximately six months.

"Although I am sure that the communication process has been carried out since the end of yesterday's election until today, but this step will definitely wait for an official decision from the KPU which will be carried out on Wednesday," he concluded.
