Airlangga Invites The Community To Be Crowded After The Constitutional Court's Decision

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Airlangga Hartarto invited the entire community to knit national unity and integrity, after the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding the Dispute over General Election Results (PHPU).

According to him, now is the time for all elements of the nation to work together to create an Advanced and Prosperous Indonesia.

"Let's re-knit the unity, it's time to work together for an Advanced and Prosperous Indonesia," said Airlangga in Jakarta, Monday, April 22.

He said Golkar respects the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the PHPU which was decided on Monday (22/4). In addition, according to him, his party appreciates all the PHPU trial processes that have been running transparently.

"The Golkar Party respects the Constitutional Court's decision, respecting the process that has been running openly and transparently," he said.

Airlangga specifically congratulated Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as president and vice president-elect.

Previously, the Constitutional Court decided to reject all applications submitted by the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar. According to the Constitutional Court, Anies-Muhaimin's request was not legally justified in its entirety.

The Constitutional Court also rejected all applications submitted by the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md in the 2024 Presidential Election Result Dispute (PHPU) case.
