KPU DKI Holds The 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election Mascot Competition, With A Prize Of IDR 30 Million

JAKARTA - The DKI General Election Commission (KPU) invites residents to make a mascot for the 2024 DKI Governor and Deputy Governor Election (Pilgub) with a prize of IDR 30 million for the winners.

"The prize for the mascot creation competition is the main winner getting Rp. 30 million," said Head of the DKI Jakarta KPU Socialization, Education and Community Participation Division Astri Megatari as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 16.

Astri explained, for the other five people who were selected, they would get an entertainment prize of Rp. 2 million per individual.

Then, for the creation of promotional songs (Jgle) for the main winners, they get Rp. 30 million and the other five people get an entertainment prize of Rp. 2 million per individual.

Regarding the participant requirements, namely all residents of DKI Jakarta as evidenced by e-KTP and Business Entities / Associations / Groups, Educational Institutions / Researches domiciled in DKI Jakarta.

As for general provisions, participants are free of charge and register with the committee by filling out a registration form that can be downloaded on the official website of the DKI Jakarta Provincial KPU (jakarta.kpu.go.id).

"Later on, filling in the form accompanied by the submission of online documents (softcopy), identity cards (KTP/SIM/Passport) which were submitted along with the work of the participants," he explained.

Then, every work submitted is accompanied by the name of the mascot or title of the dress and narration that explains the concepts and philosophy of the work delivered.

The DKI Jakarta KPU has exclusive rights to the work of winners to change or perfect the work chosen as winners according to their needs.

In addition, the special provisions for the mascot competition are the object that becomes the mascot is an animated character that symbolizes the site / historical objects / cultural heritage, flora or fauna, "landmarks" and distinctive figures of DKI Jakarta Province.

"Meanwhile, the special provisions for the competition are that the lyrics must contain an invitation to exercise the right to vote in the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta 2024," he said.
