Prabowo Is Assessed To Be Able To Reduce Political Tennision After The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - Communication expert and Coordinator of Digital Volunteer Prabowo-Gibran (PRIDE) Anthony Leong assesses that Indonesian Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto has the potential to reduce political tension after the 2024 election.

One way, according to Anthony Leong, is to hold a meeting with the Chairperson of the PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri, the Chairman of the High Council of the Democratic Party, and the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

"Prabowo can be an initiator and take progressive steps for the future of the Indonesian nation by meeting with them at a table and discussing the sustainability of the nation in the future," said Anthony in a press statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Monday.

According to Anthony, the meeting must be held so that all parties have the same understanding in building the nation after the 2024 presidential election.

In addition, the meeting also aims to end high political tensions that have the potential to create divisions in society.

If the meeting is realized and all parties have the same understanding, according to him, Indonesia will experience a positive impact on the fields of economy, defense and politics.

"Economic impacts, for example, can immediately move because the market will respond positively so that the business world is excited and investment is not disrupted," said Anthony.

For political impacts, he continued, divisions in society due to different political choices will be lost.

In addition, Indonesia will be stronger in the field of defense because all political party groups will work hand in hand to protect the country's sovereignty from foreign attacks.

Therefore, Anthony hopes that Prabowo will use the meeting for the sake of the nation.

"The meeting was certainly very positive for the progress of the nation and the realization of political maturity and the realization of Indonesia Gold 2045," said Anthony.
