Most Transportation Trains Transport H2 Eid Passengers

The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) said that the backflow through rail transportation is the most public transport users on D2 Lebaran 2024.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Transportation, Adita Irawati, said that the total number of public transport users based on the 2024 Lebaran H2 data was 769,593 good people on land, sea and air.

"Of the 769,593 users of public transportation, the most were on rail transportation as many as 217,614 people or 28.28 percent of the total public transport passengers," Adita said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, April 12.

Adita conveyed that the data was monitored from the 2024 Integrated Eid Transport Center Post at the Ministry of Transportation Office, Jakarta as of Friday.

He detailed the number of passengers on public transportation per mode of transportation on D2 Lebaran, namely road transportation (bus) as many as 175,111 passengers. This figure is up 17.65 percent compared to last year in the same period as many as 148,846 passengers.

"For bus transportation on D2 Lebaran, it has increased by 70.51 percent compared to daily normal movements," said Adita.

Furthermore, crossing transportation was 144,030 passengers. This figure decreased by 26.21 percent compared to last year in the same period as 195,176 passengers. However, this number increased by 507.06 percent compared to the daily normal movement.

Then for air transportation as many as 184,395 passengers. This figure decreased by 5.84 percent compared to last year in the same period as 195,823 passengers. However, this number increased by 42.07 percent compared to daily normal movements.

Next, sea transportation was 48,443 passengers. This figure decreased by 14.37 percent compared to last year in the same period as 56,571 passengers. This number also decreased by 34.49 percent compared to the daily normal movement in 2024.
