JAKARTA - Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto highlighted the condition of the Fast Train where the roof was leaking and went viral on social media. He insinuated that goods had not been paid off and debts were up to 70 years but had problems.

Initially, Hasto alluded to economic problems in the country, especially in the last period of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). One of them relates to foreign debt and its use.

"What about our foreign debt, how about the news of the fast train at such a large cost, the debt of 70 years has just been paid off, the water has not been leaked yet," said Hasto to reporters at the residence of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri, Jalan Teuku Umar, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday night, April 12.

Hasto also mentioned the value of the lower rupiah currency. He said, President Jokowi as head of state should pay more attention to the economy.

According to him, people's affairs must be number one rather than competing for power. That's what we should question so that we can solve it so that we can mitigate it. When the rupiah weakens, don't let this create a crisis," he said.

"So we should not be tempted by just power and then all compete but it is the party's responsibility to the people," continued the former member of the DPR RI.

Hasto ensured that his party continued to monitor various populist problems, including the economy. His party does not want the people to be affected because all of them are hunting for power.

The PDI-P is moving by prioritizing its responsibility to the people. Do not let the hunt for power forget the fate of the people who are currently facing an increase in the price of basic necessities due to rising rice, the middle class also has a financial deficit, many savings have been used, so this is what solutions must be found," he said.

As previously reported, the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) suddenly went viral on social media because it was suspected of having leaked due to heavy rain. Account X, @Zer***** said the incident occurred when the train was at Tegalluar Station, Gedebage, Bandung, West Java.

One of the eyewitnesses who knew about the incident said the leak occurred between carriage connections 5 and 6. As a result, there was water seepage on the floor of the train carriage.

Meanwhile, KCIC has opened its voice about the viral video on social media X. They denied that the high-speed train had leaked.

"At the time of the incident at Tegalluar Station, there was a series of people who were serving the passenger ride process, namely the G 1234 train series. The conditions affected by the rainwater conditions occurred on train 1 and train 6," said KCIC GM Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa in a written statement received by VOI, Friday, April 12. Eva said that the conditions that occurred at that time were weathered in the Tegalluar Station platform area in conditions of heavy rain accompanied by strong winds.
