One Way Cipali Toll Road Until Kalikangkung Extended Again Until 9 April Afternoon

JAKARTA - The police extended the engineering of one-way traffic or one-way from KM 72 Cipali Toll Road to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate until Tuesday afternoon.

Dirgakkum Korlantas Polri Brigadier General PolRaden Slamet Santoso said one way was enforced until Tuesday (9/4) this afternoon or 12.00 WIB.

"Korlantas extends one way from KM 72 Cipali Toll Road to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Road until April 9 at 12.00 WIB," Raden said in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 9, as reported by Antara.

He explained that the traffic engineering of one way could be stopped if during that period the traffic counting conditions were below the parameters.

In addition, this condition was also followed by CCTV monitoring and reports from officers in the field for three consecutive hours.

Raden appealed to motorists to always be careful and obey the officers in the field.

Previously, the Traffic Corps of the National Police extended the period of implementing traffic engineering for the one-way system of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri/2024 homecoming flow from KM 72 Cipali Toll Road to KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Road, Semarang, Central Java, on Monday (8/4) at 24.00 WIB until an undetermined time.

The traffic engineering system, which took effect on Friday (5/4) night, will be discontinued on Sunday (7/4) at 24.00 WIB.

Head of the Traffic Corps of the National Police Inspector General Pol Aan Suhanan revealed the reason his party extended the implementation of one way beyond the schedule stated in the Joint Decree (SKB) was due to an increase in the number of vehicles passing on toll roads from west to east of Java Island.
