There Is No Discussion On Cak Imin Forward To The East Java Gubernatorial Election, PKB: There Is A More Noble Place

Muhaimin Iskandar is rumored to be advancing for the East Java gubernatorial election (Instagram/@cakiminow).

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the DPP National Awakening Party (PKB), Jazilul Fawaid, admitted that there had never been a discussion of Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin running in the East Java gubernatorial election (Pilgub).

He said, there is a more noble place for the General Chairperson of the PKB who is also the vice presidential candidate number one.

"Until today there has been no discussion of Gus Muhaimin (forward in the East Java gubernatorial election, ed). Gus Muhaimin has a more noble place than the Governor of East Java," Jazilul told reporters at the PKB DPP Office, Central Jakarta, Saturday, April 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, according to Jazilul, the question of names that will advance in the East Java gubernatorial election is still being discussed by PKB.

"Because there is not easy to mention names because we already know the opponent, right," he said.

The opponent referred to by Jazilul is the incumbent candidate, namely Khofifah Indar Parawansa, who is still in office. "The strong one (Khofifah, ed.). Therefore, we hide ours first. We'll see while walking who is most suitable for competitiveness," said Jazilul.

As for the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election, PKB will see the candidates being promoted. One of them is the Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Ida Fauziyah, who is the cadre.

"DKI is the same way. There are Mrs. Ida Fauziyah, there are various kinds," concluded Jazilul.
