President Jokowi Scheduled To Hold An Open House In Jakarta During Eid

JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary Pratikno said President Joko Widodo is scheduled to hold a friendly event or open house in Jakarta in Lebaran 2024. "While it is scheduled so," said Pratikno when met at the Indonesian Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Antara, Friday, April 5. Pratikno ensured that President Jokowi would celebrate the 2024 Eid in Jakarta. When asked further when the friendly event was held, Pratikno answered that the plan was still being completed. "Not yet, it has not been finalized. Plans (open house) in Jakarta," he said. On the previous occasion, Pratikno said that the President received a letter from the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas to attend and perform Eid prayers at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta. Unlike this year, in Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri or Lebaran 2023, President Jokowi celebrates the moment of Eid with his family in his hometown, Solo, Central Java. Meanwhile, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin remained in Jakarta during Eid 2023.

Last year, neither the two held an open house, nor the media crew nor the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
