JAKARTA - Founder of Cyrus Network Hasan Nasbi said that if social assistance (bansos) was related to the election of a candidate for leader, Anies Baswedan would not win against Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok in the 2017 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election (Pilgub).

Hasan Nasbi made this statement when he was presented as a witness for the Prabowo-Gibran camp at the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial at the Constitutional Court (MK), Thursday, April 4.

"If there is a social assistance relationship with electability, Anies cannot win against Ahok," Hasan said.

According to him, the provision of social assistance by incumbents has nothing to do with electability in contestation. Because, it will not affect voters.

"Never again testing social assistance with incumbent electability, because this social assistance for 18 years has nothing to do with it," he said.

The victory of the disaster, said Hasan, was not due to the provision of social assistance. But because the competitors are not better.

In fact, if the public thinks otherwise, then, an incumbent will not be the winner

"If there is a connection, Pak Jokowi cannot beat Foke. If there is a connection Pak Ganjar can't beat Bivi," he said

"If it has something to do with it, Mrs. Khofifah can't beat Saifullah Yusuf, there are so many incidents at the provincial and district city levels where each social assistance election is also significant and the incumbent can be defeated," he continued.
