Ganjar-Mahfud Ogah Asked The 'Former' Who Became Prabowo-Gibran's Expert

JAKARTA - The Ganjar-Mahfud camp was reluctant to ask Andi Muhammad Asrun who was an expert in the Prabowo-Gibran legal team at the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial.

The reason is that the Ganjar-Mahfud camp objected to the presence of the Professor of Constitutional Science at Pakuan University.

"Your Majesty, we have several questions but we have expressed our objections to the experts, we will not ask questions," said the head of the Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team, Todung Mulya Lubis during a trial at the Constitutional Court (MK), Thursday, April 4.

Responding to this, the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court, Suhatoyo, still invited the Ganjar-Mahfud team to ask the expert questions. Although, from the Prabowo-Gibran camp, they had asked those who objected not to ask experts.

"Professor Yusril's objection was recorded, but the judge allowed it, please," said Suhatoyo.

"We want to be consistent with our statements," said Todung.

The Ganjar-Mahfud camp objected to Andi Muhammad Asrun's presence because he had joined the presidential and vice presidential candidate camp number three as director of the presidential election dispute.

"We heard that one of the experts presented was Prof. Andi Muhammad Arsun, this expert brother, as soon as we started preparing everything related to the request to the Constitutional Court, he was still the director of the presidential election for 03," said a member of the Legal Team for the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team, Maqdir Ismail.

"What we are worried about is that his presence as an expert will have a conflict of interest. So I personally object to Muhammad Andi's presence," he continued.
