KASN: 264 ASN Proven To Violate Neutrality In The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - Chairman of the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN) Agus Pramusinto said there were 264 ASN or about 54.9 percent of the 481 ASN who were reported to have been proven to have violated neutrality in the 2024 General Election.

"Based on reports received by KASN as of April 2, 2024, 481 ASN were reported for alleged violations of neutrality totaling 264 ASN or 54.9 percent were proven to have violated," Agus said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.

Then, as many as 181 ASN or 71.6 percent of them have been sanctioned by the staffing officer (PPK).

Meanwhile, in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Election, 2,034 ASN were reported to have violated neutrality.

A total of 1,597 ASN or 78.5 percent of them were proven to have committed violations. Then, 1,450 ASN or 90.8 percent have been sanctioned by PPK.

"From the various data we have conveyed, there are still a lot of violations of ASN neutrality," he said.

In addition, according to him, potential imparity violations do not only occur in the political aspect. This is because practices or forms of potential imparity violations also occur in public services, ASN management and decision-making primarily for public officials.
