After Reading The Sentence Of 3 Years In Prison The Defendant In Meulaboh Escaped

MEULABOH - Police officers and prosecutors arrested a convicted criminal act of theft, Hendra Suhadi, who had escaped from the Meulaboh District Court (PN) after being convicted and sentenced to three years and eight months in prison.

"Alhamdulillah, thanks to the alertness of our officers, the prosecutor and police officers, the convict Hendra Suhadi was arrested again while hiding in a resident's house," said the Head of the West Aceh District Attorney, Siswanto to ANTARA, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 2.

He explained that the convict Hendra Suhadi fled after the reading of the verdict by the panel of judges at the Meulaboh District Court, West Aceh, who sentenced the defendant Hendra to three years and eight months in prison.

Meanwhile, another defendant's colleague, Sudirman, was sentenced to eight months in prison in the same case.

Siswanto explained that the convict Hendra fled after hearing the verdict of the panel of judges was three years heavier than his colleague, Sudirman.

"Even though in our demands through the public prosecutor, we demand that these two defendants be sentenced to two years in prison. But the verdict in the panel of judges is far from our demands," said Siswanto.

He explained that the defendants Hendra Suhadi and Sudirman were previously arrested for being involved in the theft of a cell phone (HP) at a resident's house in Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency.

The evidence of a stolen cell phone has not been successfully sold by the two defendants who are currently convicts.

Siswanto said that until Monday night the two defendants were back at the Meulaboh Class II Penitentiary. Previously, the defendant Hendra Suhadi had hid in a house in a resident of Pasir Village, Johan Pahlawan District, Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency.
