JAKARTA - The Gegana Polda Metro Jaya team evacuated bullets and grenades found on Jalan Daan Mogot, near the Rawa Buaya Bridge, precisely on the edge of Mookevart River, Cengkareng, West Jakarta (Jakbar), Sunday, March 31.

The Head of Cengkareng Police, Kompol Hasoloan Situmorang, explained that the bullets and grenades were evacuated by the Gegana Team of the Metro Jaya Police.

"There were public reports, last Sunday afternoon, then we followed up and it was handled by the Gegana Team of the Metro Jaya Police," he said.

He said the bullets and grenades were originally found by a trader who was looking for rocks on the outskirts of Mookevart River.

"So, there are other traders on the edge of the river looking for stones, then finding a bag of bullets and grenades. Finally they were reported to the police, then we reported it to the Gegana Police Team," said Hasoloan.

The merchant, said Hasoloan, had also been questioned by the police.

"We have asked for information," he said.

As for the exact number of bullets and grenades, they are still being handled by the Gegana Team of the Metro Jaya Police.

"For the exact number handled by Gegana, they are the ones who handle it," he said.

In addition, regarding the active status and absence of the grenade, said Hasoloan, it is also still under the handling of experts from the Gegana Team of the Metro Jaya Police.

"If it is active, it must be an expert who examines it. The important thing is that we have handled the procedure, the Gegana Team immediately went to the location and evacuated the evidence," he said.
