Social Minister Risma PDIP Cadre Will Be Presented At The Presidential Election Dispute Session, Otto: I Think Positively

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Prabowo Defenders Team Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Otto Hasibuan said he had to think positively about the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs (Mesos) Tri Rismaharini at the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial, Friday, April 5.

Tri Rismaharini is a PDI-P cadre (PDIP) who is against Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) contestation.

"But he has to be honest. He was sworn in. I have to think positively. Even if Risma's mother is a PDI-P person, I have to think positively so that Mrs. Risma tells the truth, okay," Otto told reporters, Monday, April 1.

According to him, Risma's presence will not harm the Prabowo-Gibran camp. Because, in the trial, the Minister of Social Affairs will tell the truth about the provision of social assistance in accordance with the law.

"I'm sure it's not detrimental. No. Tell me that the nation is in accordance with the law, the social assistance is approved by the DPR and parties," he said.

"Tell me that Jokowi and the government have implemented the social assistance in accordance with the law's orders. Tell me the truth. So there is nothing that I think should be hidden. Where can you hide something like this," continued Otto.

In fact, Otto admitted that there was no problem if at the trial it was possible that Risma would be asked about the data on social assistance recipients.

It is known that the distribution of social assistance during the election is said to have used data from the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK).

"That must be explained by the two of them tomorrow. Meet Mrs. Risma, meet Mrs. Sri Mulyani, obviously. For us, we hope for justice," said Otto.
