JAKARTA - The 14th DPR Plenary Meeting for the Fourth Session Period IV for the 2023-2024 Session Year approved the DPR's 2025 Work and Budget Plan (RKA) of IDR 9,252,571,000,000 or IDR 9.25 trillion, after receiving an explanation from the House of Representatives Household Affairs Agency (BURT).

The budget consists of the Council Work Unit amounting to Rp6,512,505,000,000 or Rp6.51 trillion and the DPR Secretariat General Work Unit (Setjen) amounting to Rp2,740,066,000,000 or Rp2.74 trillion.

Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Household Affairs Agency (BURT) Dede Indra Permana said the DPR BURT had received budget proposals from Council Apparatus (AKD) and the Secretariat General (Setjen) of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

"After BURT held discussions with the Secretariat General of the DPR RI, we need to convey that the proposed 2025 DPR RI budget is IDR 9,252,571,000,000," said Didik.

According to him, the budget has been compiled into a draft proposed budget for the DPR RI for the 2025 fiscal year. "We hope that the proposed 2025 DPR RI budget can be approved and set in today's plenary session," he said.
