The General Election Commission (KPU) has asked the Constitutional Court (MK) to reject the dispute over the general election results (PHPU) filed by Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

A similar request was also addressed to Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar's lawsuit in the reading of the previous answer.

"The Respondent appealed to the Constitutional Court to decide to accept and grant the defendant's exception in its entirety. He stated that the petitioner's request was unacceptable," Chairman of the KPU Legal Team Hifdzil Alim at the Constitutional Court building, Thursday, March 28.

The KPU, continued Hifdzil, also asked the Constitutional Court to state that the results of the 2024 presidential election vote recapitulation were correct and still valid.

"Based on these things mentioned above, the content of the applicant's petition is not the material for the dispute over the results of the PHPU which can be examined and decided by the Constitutional Court. That thus the applicant's application must be rejected or at least unacceptable," said Hifdzil.

In reading the answer to the lawsuit, the KPU assessed that what was proposed by the Ganjar-Mahfud camp was wrong. Because, between the posita and the petitum there is an insinkron.

"That if the posita part is associated with petitum, in fact there is an inconsistency," said Hifdzil.

According to him, the inconsistency of the lawsuit for presidential and vice presidential candidates number 3 is because the petitioner's posita argued that the violation of structured, systematic, and massive fraud (TSM) was in the form of a buse of power which was coordinated in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

Where, President Joko Widodo or Jokowi is said to be one of the masterminds of the fraud.

"However, the fact is that the President is not a participant in the election and is not a party to file a case in the PHPU a quo dispute," he said.
