Ganjar-Mahfud Asks For The Presidential Election To Be Repeated Without Prabowo-Gibran No Later Than June 26

JAKARTA - The Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team asked the Constitutional Court (MK) to order the General Elections Commission (KPU) to repeat the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) process no later than June 26.

Of course, on the condition that they do not include the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 2, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The application is contained in the petitum which was filed in the General Election Result Dispute (PHPU) case.

"Ordered the General Elections Commission to re-vote for the 2024 presidential and vice presidential elections between H. Anies Rasyid Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar as candidate pairs number one, and H. Ganjar Pranowo and Prof. Mahfud MD as candidate pairs number three in all polling stations throughout Indonesia, no later than June 26, 2024," said the head of the Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team, Todung Mulya Lubis in a trial at the Constitutional Court, Wednesday, March 27.

Not only that, the Constitutional Court was also asked to disqualify Prabowo-Gibran as a contest and cancel the results of the 2024 presidential election vote count

"To cancel the KPU's decision Number 360 of 2024 concerning the results of the national election determination in the 2024 General Election dated March 20, 2024, as long as the general election for the president and vice president in 2024," said Todung.

"Requalification of H. Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a pair of candidates for the 2024 presidential and vice presidential general elections," he continued.

Meanwhile, the application for Ganjar-Mahfud's lawsuit for Dispute over General Election Results (PHPU) is registered with case number 2/PHPU.PRES-XXII/2024.
