Case Of Alleged Hoax Connie Bakrie, Polda Metro Check 4 Witnesses

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has begun investigating the alleged spread of hoaxes with reported Connie Rahakundini Bakrie. Four people have been examined as witnesses.

"At least 4 witnesses have been asked for clarification from the reporting party," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombe Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Monday, March 25.

The allegation of spreading hoaxes relates to Connie's statement about the police having access to the Sirekap and C1 forms so that they can change it.

However, Ade emphasized that based on the report received, no one immediately declared Connie as the reported party. The reported party is a social media account with the name Connie Rahakundini Bakrie.

Currently, investigative steps are being taken to ensure whether there is a criminal element in the report made by the Alliance of Communities for Justice (AMUK) and the Youth for Democracy Network (JPUD).

"The Cyber Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimsus conducted an investigation to investigate whether the reported incident was suspected of a criminal act or not," said Ade.

Meanwhile, Polda Metro Jaya received two police reports or LP registered with the number LP/B/1585/III/2024/SPKT/PMJ, dated March 20, 2024 and LP/B/1586/III/2024/SPKT/PMJ, dated March 20, 2024.
