TANGERANG - Police and BP3MI Banten thwarted 10 Indonesian citizens who were leaving for Malaysia. This happened after joint officers found the groups who were suspected of being employed illegally in Serbia under the pretext of tourism.

At that time, the immigration authorities conducted an examination of 10 people who were about to leave for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It turned out that when checked the final destination was the Serbian country with a tourist destination.

When an intensive examination is carried out, it is suspected that they are prospective Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) who will be illegally dispatched.

"When found at the airport, there are allegations that the plan to depart for 10 migrant workers who will go to Serbia will work without procedures," Fredy told reporters at the Bandraa Soekarno Hatta Police Station, Tangerang City, Sunday, March 24.

Then they were secured by his party, then a deeper examination was carried out. As a result, one of the 10 people who were arrested, namely the FP man (40), was part of an illegal PMI distribution syndicate.

"So if the results of the FP statement are the task of accompanying the departure of prospective non-procedural migrant workers to reach the destination country," he said.

"From the results of the FP work, it is planned that they will receive a fee of between Rp. 2-5 million per person," he continued.

Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, Kompol Reza Fahlevi, said that FP played a role in 9 victims under the pretext of a travel group that would travel to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. They even have a ticket back from Kuala Lumpur to Indonesia.

"They only transited in Malaysia, there they also rented lodging. Complete with the planned 7 days of travel there," said Reza.

In addition to transiting to Malaysia, said Reza, to trick Immigration officers and police, these Indonesian groups transited to Turkish territory. Later from Turkey, they will plan to fly directly to Serbia.
