BOGOR - Chairman of the DPD PKS Bogor City, West Java, Atang Trisnanto, called for the party's victory with the symbol of being dominated by white and orange in the selection of legislative members (Pileg) in the rainy city with 132,661 votes for 11 seats or 20.83 percent dominating in the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) to become a victory that will make a big contribution to the construction of the pro-people.

"We are very grateful, of course this is a big victory that was awarded to PKS in Bogor City. I call on all cadres and council members to contribute greatly to the development of pro-people. It is time for people to feel the CSR taxes and money they spend to be very beneficial. directly to build mutual welfare, "said Atang Sunday, March 24.

Atang said that PKS' victory in Bogor City for the second time, namely in 2019 with 10 seats and now taking one seat to 11 seats indicates a large and strong mandate from the community so that this party continues to provide benefits to all levels of society.

According to KPU data, out of a total of 636,703 voters for legislative candidates (caleg) to compete for 50 seats in the Bogor City DPRD, there were 10 of the 18 parties participating in the Legislative Election who walked in ready to voice the aspirations of the community to the council building.

The ten parties are PKS with the acquisition of votes ahead of other parties reaching 132,661 or 20.83 percent, followed by Golkar 89,988 or 13.99 percent, Gerindra 78,882 or 12.38 percent, PDIP 669,489 or 10.91 percent, PAN 50,655 or 7.95 percent, PKB 47,436 or 7.4 percent, Democrat 43,669 or 6.85 percent, PPP 38,445 or 5.99 percent, NasDem 30,045 or 4.7 percent and PSI 21,168 or 3.3 percent.

Meanwhile, eight other parties, the Labor Party, the Indonesian People's Wave Party, the Nusantara Awakening Party, the People's Conscience Party, the Indonesian Republican Guard Party, the Crescent Star Party, the Perindo Party and the People's Party failed to have representatives at the Bogor City DPRD.

Atang explained that PKS's steps on the results of this Legislative Election must be able to collaborate with other parties, although different clothes, different symbols, but united in fighting for the aspirations of the people and guarding the running of the government.

"All PKS cadres are ready, they must be ready. The mandate to win the Legislative Election is not light, we must be able to collaborate and even fight with 9 other parties, recess, study, to provide a form of community aspirations in budget policies and regional regulations," he said.

"In addition, we must be able to become a public mirror on government policies, so that we remain on the line of hope of the community, especially small communities who want to improve welfare," continued Atang.

Atang also said that the PKS struggle in bringing people's aspirations to realize policies that are pro-people is being discussed to be able to encourage from within the government. PKS is preparing for the candidate for Mayor of Bogor 2024-2029 in the regional head elections at the end of this year.

As the winning party for the 2019 and 2024 elections, PKS even has strong capital, it can carry the sole pair of upcoming cawalkots. However, said Atang, long ago the Bogor City PKS DPD wanted a coalition with other parties to give colors and strong strength to bring residents to determine their leaders in the next five years.
