Gerindra Considers NasDem And PPP Congratulations To Be A Close Signal To The Prabowo-Gibran Coalition

JAKARTA - The Gerindra Party welcomes congratulations from the chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh and Plt Ketum PPP M Mardiono for the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair who were declared the winners of the 2024 presidential election.

Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, considers the congratulations to be a signal that NasDem and PPP are closer to the Prabowo-Gibran coalition.

"That's a very strong signal that NasDem and PPP will join us," said Habiburokhman, Friday, March 22.

However, the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR did not want to precede the decisions of NasDem and PPP who are currently still supporters of Paslon 01 and 03.

According to him, all parties need to wait for an official statement from the two if it is true that they will join the Prabowo-Gibran camp.

"We cannot precede or intervene," he said.

After NasDem, Plt Chairman of PPP Muhamad Mardiono also congratulated the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming pair who were appointed president and vice president elected by the Indonesian KPU.

This attitude was taken when the PPP DPP held its 21st management meeting to respond to the results of the 2024 presidential and legislative elections at the PPP Jakarta DPP Office on Thursday, March 21, evening.

"On behalf of the big family of the United Development Party, we congratulate Mr. H Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka who have received the highest votes as a result of the presidential and vice presidential elections based on the results of the recapitulation of the national vote of the General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia on March 20, 2024," said Mardiono in his press statement, Friday, March 22.
