JAKARTA - The Golkar Party has given a hat to the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, who received the results of the 2024 presidential election. Paloh also congratulated Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the winners. The chairman of the Bappilu Golkar Party, Maman Abdurrahman, called Surya Paloh a knight who played a role when his party's presidential and vice presidential candidates lost. According to him, Surya Paloh and NasDem's attitude is a positive trend for national politics. "We from the Golkar Party appreciate this, and this traditional culture needs to be carried out. That the context of the fight, it is natural for us to fight hard, we bring out our abilities and capacity, but at the time of the final calculation where it has been decided as a knight we have raised our hat to the NasDem Party," said Maman at the Golkar Party DPP Office, Slipi, West Jakarta, Thursday, March 21.

Badminton Maman assessed that Surya Paloh's attitude was a positive step that the nation's children in Indonesia needed to imitate. He hopes that the attitude of the NasDem Chairman can be adopted in the implementation of the Simultaneous Pilkada in November 2024.
