Gathering Together With JK And Paloh Ahead Of The Announcement Of The Results Of The Presidential Election, Anies-Muhaimin Reluctant To Make A Wish

Presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar gathered at the residence of the 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla with the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, ahead of the announcement of the results of the national 2024 election vote recapitulation.

This meeting is also a joint iftar activity at JK's house. In this meeting, Anies admitted that they discussed the progress of the election results to be announced by the KPU.

"We are very happy at Mr. JK's invitation, at this invitation tonight, to meet so many friends and the discussions are exciting. Then while waiting for the final day of the announcement from the KPU," said Anies at JK's residence, Jalan Brawijaya Raya, South Jakarta, Wednesday, March 20.

Although discussed behind closed doors, Anies did not want to reveal to the public the response regarding the possibility of winning or losing the presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the Change Coalition.

Likewise, with the next steps to be taken in following up on the results of the 2014 presidential election vote, Anies did not want to give an explanation.

"After the KPU officially announces it, then there will be a response. There will be a response from the candidate pair. Later there will also be a response from the supporting party party. It will all be done later. If the call to prayer has not started, don't start the prayer, right," he explained.

The KPU has just completed the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election in 38 provinces. Since the morning on the last day of the election recapitulation, the KPU has continued its recapitulation in the remaining 2 provinces, namely Papua Induk and Papua Mountains. The KPU is currently holding a plenary meeting before the announcement of the results of the recapitulation of votes.

Based on the recapitulation in 38 provinces, the presidential-cawapres candidate pair number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka received the most votes by winning in 36 provinces.

Meanwhile, presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar are recorded as superior in 2 provinces, namely West Sumatra and Aceh. Presidential and vice-presidential candidates number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD have not outperformed the vote acquisition in any province.
