Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto ensured that the results of the national recapitulation carried out by the General Elections Commission (KPU) were completed on time, Wednesday, March 20. This was conveyed by Hadi when responding to the media crew's question about the delay in the KPU completing the results of the national recapitulation of the predetermined target, namely March 18. "It is still according to plan. In accordance with the law, 35 days after we announce the election, it means that it falls on March 20, 2024. That means it is in accordance with the plan," said Hadi during a press conference at the office of the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Antara, Tuesday, March 19. When asked about the obstacles experienced by the KPU so that when the national recapitulation was completed outside the target, Hadi was reluctant to explain. The media crew also asked about another plan scheme if the results of the recapitulation exceeded the target limit on March 20. However, Hadi remained unmoved. He remains sure that tomorrow the national recapitulation will be completed and the situation and condition of the community remain conducive. Previously, RI KPU member August Mellaz said there was a possibility that the recapitulation process would be completed on Monday, March 18. "As for the target, we were even finished before. Is it possible that it will be March 18th," said Mellaz at the Indonesian KPU Office, Jakarta, last Wednesday. He explained that the KPU also monitors the recapitulation process at the sub-district to the province level. However, according to him, the calculation process is about to be completed. But in fact, until now the national recapitulation process is still ongoing. It is recorded that the KPU has completed the recapitulation results for 34 provinces out of a total of 38 provinces. The last four provinces to be recapitulated at the national level are West Java, Papua, Papua Mountains and Maluku. The 2024 election includes the Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections of the Republic of Indonesia, the Election for Members of the DPRD RI, the election for members of the provincial DPRD, and the election for district/city DPRD members with a final voter list (DPT) at the national level as many as 204,807,222 voters. Election participants for legislative members (pileg) as many as 18 national political parties, namely (according to the serial number) of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Gerindra Party, PDI Perjuangan, Golkar Party, NasDem Party, Labor Party, and the Gelora Indonesia Party. Next is the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the Archipelago Awakening Party (PKN), the Hanura Party, the Garuda Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Democratic Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the Perindo Party, the United Development Party (PPP), and the Ummat Party. In addition, the legislative elections were also attended by six local political parties, namely the Aceh Nanggroe Party, the Atjeh Beusaboh Tha'at and Taqwa Generation Party, the Aceh Darul Party, the Aceh Aceh Party, the Aceh Prosperous Justice Party, and the Acehnese People's Independent Solidity Party.

In accordance with KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the national votes for the 2024 General Election is scheduled from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
