BANJARMASIN - Central Banjarmasin (Banteng) Sector Police (Polsek), South Kalimantan, arrested five couples in the room while holding hotel checks in order to create conditions for the month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri. "A total of five couples who were arrested during the hotel inspection were known not to be husband and wife," said Central Banjarmasin Police Chief Kompol Eka Saprianto in Banjarmasin, Antara, Tuesday, March 19. He said the hotel inspection activities were carried out on Monday night starting at 22.00 WITA until 00.00 WITA. There were three hotels that were examined by officers. Among them, the Pelangi Indah Hotel Jalan Sutoyo S Teluk Dalam, the Ocean Guest Host of Jalan P. Samudera and the Rindang Grand Hotel Jalan Hasanuddin HM, Central Banjarmasin District. "From the three jasmine class hotels that we raided, five couples were suspected of being perverted in the hotel room and were immediately escorted to the Sector Police for data collection and guidance," said Kompol Eka. Five couples who were arrested during the hotel raid apart from being recorded and fostered, they were also asked to make a statement not to repeat it again and asked the family who picked them up to get social sanctions from their respective families.
