Good News From Kemendikbudristek! Selection Of PPPK ASN Teachers Opened, Quota 419,146 People

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) opened the selection of teachers from the State Civil Apparatus for Government Employees with Work Agreements (ASN PPPK) in 2024 with a quota of 419,146 people. "In an effort to realize the ideals of the Free Learning movement, namely improving the quality of Indonesian education, we will continue the policy of recruiting PPPK ASN teachers," said Minister of Education and Technology Nadiem Anwar Makarim in a statement in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, March 14. This decision is based on the Coordination Meeting for Preparation for ASN Procurement for Fiscal Year 2024 between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB). "We would like to thank KemenPANRB for the opportunity given to the Ministry of Education and Culture as a supervisory agency and government agencies to reopen the proposed formation of ASN PPPK 2024 teachers," he said. Nadiem said that the implementation of the Selection of PPPK ASN Teachers will definitely involve close cooperation and collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of PANRB, BKN, LAN, and other relevant ministries/agencies. He said that until 2023 his party had graduated 774,999 PPPK ASN teachers and there would still be a quota of 419,146 special PPPK ASN teacher formations for this year so that the target of 1 million teachers could be met.

In addition, Nadiem also said that there was a need for a PPPK formation proposal for School Administration and School Supervisory Personnel, which this year has 18,729 School Supervisory formations for Young Experts that can be met through PPPK ASN.
