JAKARTA - Commission II of the DPR and the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemen PANRB) have agreed that officials are prohibited from appointing non-state civil servants (ASN).
"Commission II of the DPR and the Ministry of PANRB have agreed that the acting personnel supervisors (PPK) and other officials are prohibited from appointing non-ASN personnel as mandated by Article 65 of Law no. 20 of 2023 concerning ASN," said Chairman of Commission II of the DPR Ahmad Doli Kurnia when reading the conclusion of the working meeting reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, March 13.
Commission II of the DPR asked the PANRB Ministry and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) to give strict sanctions to PPK which is still carrying out the appointment of non-ASN personnel.
Then, Commission II of the DPR supports the Ministry of PANRB to provide the allocation of formations for government employees with a work agreement (PPPK), which is adjusted to the number of non-ASN personnel recorded in the BKN database.
"So that the arrangement of non-ASN personnel can be completed in 2024," he said.
Commission II of the DPR encourages the Ministry of PANRB to increase coordination with central agencies and regional agencies, to immediately propose a PPPK formation in 2024, in accordance with the number of non-ASN personnel in each agency.
