The General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia has approved the presidential-vice presidential candidate pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka ahead based on the recapitulation of the results of the 2024 presidential election vote acquisition in Central Java Province.

"This is over, does it mean? Can we ratify the results of the presidential election for Central Java? Bismillah is valid," said Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari at the Indonesian KPU Building, Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, March 11.

In the Plenary Meeting of the Recapitulation of the National Level of Vote Accounting Results, the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair outperformed two of their competitors by winning 12,096,454 votes.

The second position is occupied by the pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md who received 7,827,335 votes, while the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair received 2,866,373 votes.

The number of residents registered on the 2024 Election Permanent Voter List (DPT) in Central Java was 28,289,413 people, but there were 23,143,127 voters who exercised their voting rights.

Next, the number of voters on the Additional Voter List (DPTb) was recorded at 186,364 people and 146,320 voters registered as the Special Voter List (DPK).

Overall, the number of voters who exercise their voting rights in Central Java is 23,475,811 people.

Meanwhile, there were 22,790,162 ballots that were declared valid and 685,649 ballots were declared invalid.

Previously, based on the Plenary Meeting on the Recapitulation of National Level Vote Accounting Results conducted by the Indonesian KPU on Wednesday, February 28 to Monday, March 4, the Prabowo-Gibran pair won 421,605 votes in 127 regions of the Overseas Election Committee (PPLN).

In second place is Anies-Muhaimin with 120,085 votes, and the last position is Ganjar-Mahfud who received 117,351 votes.

Meanwhile, based on the national recapitulation as of Saturday, March 9 to Monday at 17.30 WIB, the Indonesian KPU has approved the vote acquisition for the presidential election in eight provinces, including the Special Regions of Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Central Kalimantan, Bali, Lampung, Bangka Belitung, West Kalimantan, and South Sumatra.

The Prabowo-Gibran pair won 14,023,664 votes in the eight provinces. Furthermore, Ganjar-Mahfud received 4,125,376 votes, and Anies-Muhaimin won 3,791,858 votes.

The 2024 presidential election was attended by three pairs, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar candidate pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka candidate pair number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. candidate pair number 3.

In accordance with KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
