KPU National Recapitulation: Prabowo-Gibran's Voice Wins In Bali

The General Election Commission (KPU) has approved the vote acquisition of presidential and vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka ahead in Bali Province based on a plenary meeting to recapitulate the results of the national vote which was held in Jakarta, Sunday, March 10.

The chairman of the Indonesian KPU, Hasyim Asy'ari, said that the number of elections used for the presidential and vice president elections was suitable for the number of voters who attended the polling stations (TPS) and the number of valid and invalid votes, which was 2,740,692 pieces.

"We can accept it and we will confirm it, bismillah is legal," said Hasyim during the plenary meeting, which was confiscated by Antara.

Chairman of the Bali Provincial KPU I Dewa Agung Gede Lidartawan explained that Prabowo-Gibran's votes were 1,454,640 votes, followed by Ganjar-Mahfud 1,127,134 votes, and the Anies-Muhaimin pair 99,233 votes.

He explained that the number of voters recorded on the permanent voter list (DPT) in Bali Province was 3,269,516 people. Of the DPT figures, the number of people who exercise their voting rights is 2,704,450 people.

Then there were 17,496 people who exercised their voting rights from the additional voter list (DPTb), and there were 18,746 people who exercised their voting rights from the special voter list (DPK).

"The number of users of the right to vote, 1,365,691 men, 1,375,001 women, a total of 2,740,692 people," said Gede Lidartawan.

The 2024 election includes the presidential and vice presidential elections, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI, members of the provincial DPRD, and members of the district/city DPRD with a national voter list (DPT) of 204,807,222 voters.

For the presidential and vice presidential elections, three couples, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md number 3.

Then in the legislative elections, 18 national political parties participated, namely (according to the serial number) of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Gerindra Party, PDI-P, Golkar Party, NasDem Party, Labor Party, and the Indonesian Gelora Party.

Next, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS), Partai Kebangkitan Nusantara (PKN), Partai Hanura, Partai Garuda, Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN), Partai Bulan Bintang (PBB), Partai Demokrat, Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), Partai Perindo, Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP), and Partai Ummat.

In addition, there are six local political parties as participants, namely the Aceh Nanggroe Party, the Atjeh Beusaboh Tha'at and Taqwa Generation Party, the Aceh Darul Party, the Aceh Aceh Party, the Aceh Prosperous Justice Party, and the Acehnese People's Independent Solidity Party.

According to KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 to March 20, 2024.
