Based on the results of internal lunar monitoring in the last few months, Samiruddin said, the results were briefly conveyed. First, monitoring of the moon begins by observing the three full moons 14, 15, and 16 Sya'ban 1445 Hijri, which coincides with the 23 23, 24, and 25 February 2024.

Second, after setting the three full moons in the middle of the Sya'ban month, then calculating the lunar journey, 27, 28, and 29 Sya'ban 1445 Hijri coincided with the 7th, 8th, and 9th of March 2024 while paying attention to the hours of the month's publication in Eastufuk, at the dawn of the kazib, Siddiq and in the morning including seeing the shadow of the moon arranged using a light black cloth.

Fifth, Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the end of the month of Sya'ban 1445 Hijri, is predicted to be published in the eastern horizon at around 05.49 WITA, while the sun rises at 06.07 WITA. Although it is difficult to see in plain view, as is the difficulty of seeing the hilal. The journey at the end of the month of Sya'ban no longer reaches the West.

"This means that on Sunday there has been a change or a new moon (new moon) conjunction from the month of Sya'ban to Ramadan, which occurred around 17.02 WITA. Based on the results of monitoring of the month, Jamaah An Nadzir began fasting Sunday with the intention of welcoming the arrival of Ramadan," he explained.

Previously, the Islamic Muhammadiyah organization had set 1 Ramdan 1445 Hijri on Monday, March 11, 2024 using it

the hisab formatul hilal hakiki method. As for the government's stipulation through the Ministry of Religion, it has not been confirmed because it will still carry out rukyatul hilal (monitor of hilal through binoculars) to determine the beginning of fasting.
