KPK Pockets Suspect Name In PT Taspen Corruption Case

The investigation into alleged corruption at PT Taspen (Persero) began with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Investigators have already pocketed the name of the party designated as a suspect.

"It is true that with the follow-up of public reports related to allegations of corruption under the authority of the KPK, there is currently a process of collecting evidence related to investigations into alleged corruption in fictitious investment activities at PT Taspen (Persero)," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, March 8.

Ali said the alleged corruption in the state-owned company involved other companies. However, he is still closing the information meeting.

Likewise with those who have been named as suspects and the construction of the case.

"The construction of the case that ensnared the parties designated as suspects, including anyone who became a suspect, has not been able to be announced to the public until all stages of collecting evidence are sufficient," he said.

"The public is asked to continue to monitor this case, Ali said. We will convey the progress of this investigation to the public and we invite them to be escorted," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK had examined Rina Lauwy, who is the ex-wife of the President Director of PT Taspen, Antonius Nicholas Stephanus Kosasih on Friday, September 1, 2023. He admitted that he was asked for information regarding the investigation into alleged corruption.

At that time, Rina said that her summons had no suspect's name attached. Even so, she has submitted 39 bank statements to investigators, some of which belonged to her ex-husband.
