Bawaslu Gather Report On PSI's Voice Surge

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) is compiling reports regarding differences in the votes of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in the Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap) with a photo of the Model C Plano form document.

This was revealed by Bawaslu member Lolly Suhenty at the KPU building, Jakarta, last Monday, as reported by ANTARA.

"Currently we are still waiting from the bottom. There is a lot of information that comes to us so that in this context Bawaslu compiles all input," he said.

Bawaslu, according to him, has coordinated with the ranks below to carry out funerals related to the tiered recapitulation currently underway.

"We will immediately send it back to the ground for burial, either in districts/cities or those that have entered the province, including we ourselves are compiling so that later once the national recap we have documents to look again, observe again," he said.

Lolly ensured that Bawaslu would continue to make corrections, including from the sub-district level if there were findings of errors.

"Once in the sub-district there was an error in the recap process, yes, in the district. As soon as it reaches the top so that if there is this allegation, it will be for Bawaslu what we have to look at is the document," he said.

Chairman of the PSI Board of Trustees Grace Natalie assessed that the addition of PSI votes was considered reasonable because it occurred when the General Elections Commission (KPU) recapitulated the results of the 2024 election vote acquisition tally.

He also reminded all parties not to tend to address the addition of the vote.

"Additions including reduced votes during the recapitulation process are normal. What is unnatural is if there are parties who try to lead opinions by questioning this," he said.

Previously, the user of social media account X, @overgassedmk12, tweeted about the difference in PSI votes in Sirekap and photos of the Model C Result Plano form document on Saturday (2/3/2024) at 16.11 WIB.

"Many have found irregularities in PSI's voice, finally I tried to find myself around the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Polling Station 020 Wonosari, Wonosari, Gunungkidul, DIY Web KPU: 31 C Results: 5," the tweet read.

The tweet until Sunday (3/3/2024) at 16.40 WIB has been liked by 11,000 accounts, quoted by 5,000 accounts, and reached an impression of 892,300 impressions.

Adapun berdasarkan laman https://pemilu2024.kpu.go.id/pilegdpr/hitung-suara pada pukul 17.27 WIB, PSI memperoleh 2.404.307 suara atau 3,13 persen pada pemilu anggota DPR.
