JAKARTA - A number of non-governmental organizations that are members of the Civil Society Coalition, Guarding the Democratic Election, assessed that the surge in the votes acquired by the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) in the calculation of the real count of the General Election Commission (KPU) was considered unreasonable.

The reason is, only PSI experienced a drastic increase in votes in the 2024 Legislative Election when the polling station vote count data was above 60 percent.

Gufron said that his party had suspected that the vote inflated would coincide with the termination of manual calculations at the sub-district level and the termination of the KPU Sirekap since 18 February.

The Civil Society Coalition, according to Gufron, had previously questioned the KPU's decision to delay the open plenary session regarding vote recapitulation manually at the District and Sirekap levels on the grounds of improvement due to misreading of Sirekap data conversion from form C1. results.

Then, if the alleged inflating of party votes led by President Jokowi's son, namely Kaesang Pangarep, which is currently happening, will continue to be ignored, Gufron is worried that it will destroy the legitimacy of the 2024 election.

"At the same time, it is almost perfect that the Piracy of the 2024 General Election by the Des Pharmacy Regime is for the benefit and ambition of Jokowi's power, his family, and his crafts," he said.

On that basis, the Civil Society Coalition asked members of the DPR RI to immediately exercise their constitutional rights in parliament through submitting the right of inquiry to investigate allegations of election fraud.

The public is being shocked by the sharp increase in PSI's vote acquisition in the 2024 Legislative Election. In the presentation of the results of the real count on the 2024.kpu.go.id election site today, PSI received 3.13 percent in the DPR RI Legislative Election. In fact, a week ago, PSI votes were still at 2.68 percent.

A number of netizens on platform X uploaded a portrait of PSI's difference in voice, in which Sirekap displayed a higher number of votes than form C. results. many suspect that there is an attempt to pass PSI to parliament by raising votes beyond the 4 percent threshold.

However, RI KPU member Idham Holik emphasized that the main reference for vote acquisition was based on a photo of the Model C Plano form document, although the figures written on the KPU page were different.

"The vote acquisition data contained in the Model C Plano form document photo is the main source or reference. It is vote acquisition data written directly by the KPPS (voting organizer group) which was witnessed directly by the election participants and supervisors of TTS (voting stations) and monitored directly by registered monitors," said Idham, on Sunday, March 3.

Idham explained that the data on the votes acquired by political parties in Sirekap can be verified directly by each accesser, because Sirekap displays a photo of Plano's C model form.

"Until now, there have been 65.81 percent but for the election for DPR members whose data has been uploaded to Sirekap. The data shows a photo of the Model C Plano form, which can be checked or verified," he said.
