JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) promised to fight for the land belonging to the TNI. This was conveyed by AHY at the 62nd Anniversary of the Frog Troop Command (Kopaska) in Banteng Field, Central Jakarta, Sunday, February 3. "We are thinking about how the land that should have been dedicated and belongs to the TNI, land, sea and air including the Police, we will fight for it, we will guard it, lest there will still be disputes in the field, which makes it difficult for units to have legal certainty," he said. AHY admitted that he had coordinated with the TNI Commander, General TNI Agus Subiyanto to deal with land problems that should have been dedicated and belonged to the TNI. "Indeed, among the many land problems in Indonesia, among them are also related to land that should be owned by the TNI family. This means that institutions, both then not only for the command headquarters, the training areas, the barracks of the soldiers," he said.

AHY said, while reviewing the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), he had submitted a certificate to the Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) II, which is located in East Kalimantan. "Of course it becomes something very good because after several years of being processed it can finally be certified, and that will also make it easier to continue the physical development of infrastructure there, including in various other areas," he said.
