RIAU - Riau Regional Police Chief Inspector General Muhammad Iqbal led the destruction of evidence of 15.6 kilograms of methamphetamine from international drug syndicates as a result of the disclosure of the Bengkalis Resort Police.

Previously, the Bengkalis and Customs and Excise Police thwarted the smuggling of 15.6 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine from two different locations with three suspects whose value reached tens of billions.

The first scene on Jalan Batin Alam Bengkalis City with evidence secured as many as 10 plastic packages of red methamphetamine packages weighing about 10.5 kg with the suspect who was a courier being arrested, Monday, January 8, 2024.

For the second crime scene on Monday, February 26, 2024, on Jalan Lintas Sungai Pakning- Dumai, one suspect with the initials MR (19) was arrested. The evidence of five packs of gold methamphetamine brand Guan Yin Wang weighing 5.1 kg.
